Fixed Fire Suppression Systems

As part of the FK-5-1-12 clean extinguishing agent transition the CG2 “Automatic Only” series of HFC-227ea extinguishers is now obsolete and has been replaced by its cousin, the MA2xxxx227-BL “Manual/Automatic” version.

Both versions are FM, ABYC and USCG approved in our applications.

The main difference is the MA2 series has the lever (and safety pin) so that a Fireboy pull cable can be connected to the extinguisher for manual discharge in addition to automatic operation.

You can use an MA2 extinguisher anywhere a CG2 version was installed.
